Nicolai is a quiet, soft-spoken, and reserved man who - despite having a wide social circle - considers himself an introvert. He prefers to handle situations diplomatically and does not often speak his mind, so on the few occasions he does, he can come off as quite intimidating. He is more talkative, affectionate, and expressive around those he is close to

Summons a tempest to shield himself and deal mild to moderate magic damage to enemies as he swaps weapons.
Form 1 (Default RDM) - Cutlass in right hand, focus in left.
Form 2 (RDM+DRK) - Uses dark magic to form second blade in left hand, crit. damage is increased by 10%, healing spell efficacy decreases 10%. Dark magic attacks grant bleed debuff if hit. Bleed damage heals him.
Form 3 (RDM+PLD) - Uses light magic to form shield in left hand, physical damage decreases 10% & magic 5%, physical and magic damage resistance increases 10%, healing spell efficacy increases 3%.
Summons an array of swords that orbit around him, eventually stabbing into the ground and emitting massive bursts of black magic, dealing high AOE damage that heals himself and his party with white magic for 80% of total damage dealt. Spell variations include added rows of swords, rotation in differing directions, and rotation speed increase.

- His favorite instruments to play are the hurdy-gurdy and the recorder.
- He has a crescent-shaped scar circling the outer edge of his right eye, given to him by his brother.
- Has a horrible palette. Don't ask him to cook anything for you unless you want it bland.
- Can sleep practically anywhere if the situation calls for it.
- His unique Echo ability allows him to feel the emotions of others.
- He can't stand the feeling of chapped lips - he crafts his own tinted lip balm and always has at least two jars on hand.
- (Late ShB) Due to the Light's corruption, he developed vitiligo-like patches all over his body. His eyes also became more sensitive to light, leading to migraines if precautions aren't taken.
