History

Edward was born to lone wolves without their own pack, but were trying to establish a territory. His parents originated from a line of artisans, wolves who knew how to create paints and dyes out of berries and minerals. And so each of the pups were given a ‘tattoo’ of sorts, which were messily made from paw and tongue to fur over a few days. Edward received orange dye, signifying the light and wisdom they saw in his eyes. His sister purple for the cool silence she exuded, and his brother a murky red for his aggressive demeanor. The adults took their turns watching the pups while the other hunted, and often returned with nothing - they were built for pack hunting after all. Edward didn't get along with his siblings too much, they didn't think before they acted and they had no desire to understand the world. He spent his time Independant from the others, and this is how as he grew into adolescence he also grew into being an Independant hunter. Learning to work as an individual force his body grew lithe, as his siblings grew more geared towards sheer muscle and fighting. Providing for his family he grew attracted to the scent of other wolves, they spoke word of warning but he entered the land after moons of pondering. He informed his siblings, and his brother attacked him to his sisters hatred. His sister fought his brother off as he fled and he breached the other packs territory, his family and artisan path left behind him.

The land here was odd, colorful and foreign, with sparks of light erupting with every step. It was here that a member of the mystic pack engaged in an attack, and he allowed himself to be dominated. After a weary discussion Edward was amongst the ranks of the mystic pack, and from other wolves he learned the ways of pack life. He liked the organization of the pack, more structured than the chaos his family had. However pack hunts didn't work as well for him as he learned to hunt as a single wolf, so he continued to be an independent hunter, taking down smaller prey but more often. Finding he actually loved to socialize with these wolves he even leaves his den open for other wolves whenever they need a place to stay or come in for a discussion.

Personality

Ed is a wolf who thinks everything through thoroughly before responding or taking action, and as such remains a wolf of few words. Despite his somewhat standoff ish appearance he is actually quite sociable, though he'd rather listen to you than the other way around. His loyalty wavers, and sometimes is willing to but himself above the pack though he does so discreetly. However he will never allow another to be harmed without him doing anything about it, and will stand fierce despite not really being built for battle. Is generally relaxed though very aggressive when stressed or emotional. Takes authority well and isn't afraid to be submissive to his superiors.
