Alicorn - Wild Magic

Fan Faire was mutated as a young filly due to being hit by a strong wave of wild magic, causing her tail to mutate and a horn to start growing from her head. This worried her parents, over what could happen to her due to the wave, but neither were unicorns and didn't know how to raise one with that sort of magic.

As she ages it doesn't seem to affect her too much, she can't really do magic but she can identify where strong flares of wild magic are about to happen. She does grow blind in one eye, but it's not too difficult for to continue to cope, in fact she gains a group of other ponies who need help navigating this new world and becomes their 'leader'.
