Khyber

TLDR: Khyber is a dwarven druid who abandoned her home in the mountains  to have a romantic fling with the Earth goddess Chauntea and then became  a weird grandma in the woods who taught druidcraft to kids (also Bezroh's mentor)

Campaign Age: 350 years old and height of 4'3"

Long Story:

Khyber was once a normal dwarf woman living in the mountains, until one  night she saw a vision of a mysterious woman and consulted historians  and local legends. Upon discovering that this woman was the earth  goddess Chauntea(essentially the avatar of the earth itself), she  decided to study nature and druidic to know more. After several several  years, Chauntea herself appeared before Khyber once more. This time she  stayed quite a while, fascinated by the Dwarf's devotion. Over time they  grew close and eventually had a bit of a summer fling(and my summer i  mean like, a century or so) but soon enough the Earth Goddess had to  return to her own plane, leaving Khyber alone.

Rather than wallow in sadness in gloom, Khyber took it upon herself to  show others the joy of nature, and willing to teach to anyone  interested.

After she retired from that she found a solitary cottage in the woods  where she went to live out the rest of her days. Until one stormy night a  certain half-orc child [ Bezroh ] stumbled into her garden looking for shelter. The two became friends  and she came out of retirement to create one last successor in her time.

She has passed away from old age by the time Bezroh reach's adulthood.
