R aiden is a raen au ra native to Yanxia and belonging to the Hamasaki clan. Ezra is simply a name he picked up upon coming to Eorzea. They’re trained in both the art of the Dragoon, and that of a Dark Knight. Due to past events, Raiden lacks needed aether pools for seemingly everyday tasks, and relies on aether crystals to fill these gaps. Raiden has an aloof personality, and tends to speak in a straightforward and sometimes rude manner. He’s loyal to a fault, and is extremely defensive of people he loves.

Aside from physical prowess, Raiden has ample knowledge on physics, mechanics, and battle strategy- mostly from his former Garlean education he recieved living in occupied Doma. Raiden enjoys working with his hands, and best understands things from a practical standpoint. It’s because of his hands-on learning that it's actually surprising he’s a scholarly type- originally planning on pursuing a formal Sharlayan education before he took up adventuring for a living. His hobbies include woodworking, fishing, scrapbooking, wrestling, and reading.
