Valerian was once an important member of his local Catholic church, but has now turned to a dangerous cult lead by a creature from the depths of the ocean. They are unhealthily obsessed and devoted to the cult leader as well and have made their way up in the cult's status.

The two are unheathily obsessed with each other and run the cult together. It is a constant game of manipulation between them, but they are madly in love regardless.
