A mysterious, self-proclaimed vagabond, who wanders Hisui for reasons known to nobody but himself. With a talent for finding rare items and stones, Maguro often does business with all sorts, clan and village-originating alike, in exchange for food and supplies to use on his travels.

Around a month before Misao arrived in Hisui, a strange figure was spotted within the region. He claimed to be a simple, ordinary traveler from Johto, but he worked with Pokemon too well and knew too much about people and places to be anything but simple or ordinary. They never settled in one place or with one group, always wandering from one corner of Hisui to the next...and 'happening' to arrive in the village on the exact day Misao arrived.

Maguro is an enigma, but his kindness and care for the world are entirely genuine. He seems to be a firm believer in fate and destiny, and, in fact, seems to be able to predict the future...in some way. They often speak in cryptic words and strange prophecies, and 'happen' to arrive in places where important events soon take place. Any questions thrown their way are deflected, though.
