Grim

It's not easy for most to conceive of an Infected so vicious and tyrannical it's just as dreaded and avoided by its own kind as it is by survivors, but Grim (formerly Spencer Darthe) is a unique breed of monstrous.

Grim is an "alpha" Hunter, his body having reacted so violently to the Green Flu virus that it triggered an unprecedented rate of rapid muscle/bone growth, manifesting most dramatically in the long, scythelike claws on his left hand (the inspiration behind his ominous nickname) and a ferocious, pain-driven madness even Tanks hesitate to engage. Reigning supreme over the wasted city streets he's claimed as his own, he stalks the shadows to prey upon anyone or anything foolish enough to trespass upon "his" territory (especially if they happen to be another male Hunter, which he seems to perceive as the biggest threat to his rule), tracking their every movement with the acute senses of hearing and smell he developed to compensate for his total blindness. Should you be unfortunate enough to encounter him, your best bet is to attempt escape; Grim isn't particularly bright, as far as Hunters go, and that coupled with his impulsive, single-minded compulsion to pursue whatever enrages him makes him clumsy and prone to being outwitted. Choosing instead to try and take him on firsthand - with or without a firearm, survivor or fellow Infected - is a decision that has cost many their lives.
