He/any pronouns
Lupus-breed Philodox Silent Strider Fostern
Age 3, Appears mid-20s in Homid form.

Art note: Yellow markings on the tips of his ears are pollen that are stuck from rolling in flowers. It translates to a blonde streak in his Homid form. If he has bathed, they will not be there.

Crow's father was a wolf kinfolk known to his Sept as Falconeye, son of Chants-for-Hours. He was one of many wolf kinfolk litters born to his Lupus mother, but he was the only one who seemed to take after her Silent Strider nature, having an unquenchable desire to wander and discover, moreso than any normal wolf. Falconeye traveled far north until he settled in the forests of British Colombia, Canada, where he found a normal wolf to be his mate.

Their first litter gave them Crow and his two sisters, but there seemed to be a very obvious disconnect between mother-and-son from the beginning. As soon as he was big enough to stop needing supervision, she seemed to avoid him when necessary. Falconeye recognized this as a similar sensation to being around his own mother--the Curse of Rage. Crow was Garou. However, Crow seemed to be somewhat milder in comparison, and while prone to the typical puppy temper tantrums, he was much more rational, analytical, almost hesitant. After his first Winter, his mother had a second litter, which he lavished in when she was unable to get up from nursing and he could get attention from her.

His second summer, he encountered another wolf who smelled the same as him. Another Garou. She did not fear him, and in fact outclassed him in every single way. He had been the runt, but overcome most of his challenges--until now, that is. When it was time to return home to his den, he could not stop thinking about this other wolf.

His second winter was when the biggest change happened. His first change. Atop the mountain, a snowball effect began while he and his family were out hunting. Instinct told Crow to climb atop the highest tree he could when he felt the rumbles and heard something in the distance, and it seemed his father followed suit--but none of the younger cubs learning to hunt picked up on his action. In an instant, a riptide of snow covered the entire landscape, sweeping adolescents and same-age sisters underneath, and he was filled with so many emotions that he couldn't control.

One sole thought ruled his mind: Dig.

After his first change, he successfully unearthed his family from the snow, and his father took responsibility. He directed Crow to the south, where a nearby caern was located--the Sept of the First Rage. There, Red Talons could teach him everything he would need to know.

For the next year (after an initial small detour, where he overshot how far he needed to go and ended up in the city of Vancouver), he was taught by Bites-the-Hand, a Lupus Red Talon Ahroun. She taught him how to use gnosis, to read glyphs, to speak the Garou tongue, and to always be wary of humans and their tricks. She was far more radical than Crow wanted to believe, his own natural curiosity winning out over believing her blind hatred for humankind. However, he was still able to see the merit behind her words... When it came time for his Rite of Passage, he was tasked with infiltrating the Sept. She put up a strong fight against him, not letting him get past the perimeter, but falling back, tapping into his gnosis, and speaking with a flock of crow spirits was what gave him the upper hand. After discussing tactics with them, he was able to use the element of stealth and surprise to pin her down, earning him the deed name Speaks-with-Crows.

After a heartfelt conversation with Bites-the-Hand, she was upset that he did not want to choose Griffon as his patron, but felt a stronger connection to Owl. They remained in touch, though he wandered between septs, trying to find a place to call home. In Seattle, he met a small pack of Black Fury crones who asked for his companionship while they traveled south. However, before they could even make it across state lines, a vampire attacked the pack, and the elderly women weren't able to keep up the fight on their own. Being young and inexperienced, he was quickly subdued, and when things looked their most grim, a hunter entered the fray. While the vampire was subdued, so were his packmates, and he was shipped off to Colorado, where he would be separated, chained with silver, and kept until they decided what to do with him.

However, after just a few weeks, things looked up. A pack of Garou seemed to find him and took care of the hunter that was keeping him captive.

From that point on, Crow traveled with his new pack of Mike, Aurel, Pierce, and Diamondback.
