The knight who manipulated, and outlived, a king into intiating the Magic Ban; a genocide that destroyed thousands of years of history and murdered thousands of people for their magic. Mors led the group called the Magicum Incuriso (which is also another name for the ban) who'd been attempting to rid Speravi of its magical folk for centuries. It wasn't until Mors picked up the leadership that they were able to get what they wanted.

Mors despises magic because they believe it's derived from chaos and thus cannot be controlled. They create issues for non-magic folk simply for existing. Mors's used phony scientific research and nonsensical priest's teachings to convince King Obscurus Stillwind, who Mors essentially essentially raised since he was three years old after his parents were killed by magic users following a protest gone awry. Mors used their death to further convince Obscurus that cracking down on magic users would suffice as revenge.
