Tussle

Oftentimes Tussle will introduce herself to others with an inquiry about a fight, one on one, them against her. It doesn’t matter if the feline in question is bigger, stronger, or faster than her. As long as her opponent  isn’t intent on taking things to a serious level, she’ll send an invitation their way. While this is all mostly just for the fun of it, she enjoys getting to learn how an individual fights and uses the opportunity to further hone her skills against any and every tactic she may encounter. Tussle is full of life and energy, happily bouncing from one thing to the next, teasing and playing all the way through. This is not excluded from how she acts in these friendly battles. With nothing at stake, she is free to attack as many times as she likes. Being so scraggly, this almost always ends in her own defeat. What Tussle lacks in physical strength, she makes up for in smarts and speed. She is not unaware of how so many defeats can lead others to look down on her, nor does she misjudge the strength of her foes. Tussle throws herself into these battles for fun above all else, her intense want for lack of restriction clashing with her desire to be looked up to and to be worth something. Tussle is passionate in what she yearns for, throwing every part of herself into getting it and going overboard in the process.

Below all that scruff and penchant for going overboard you will find a fairly intelligent and observant cat. Tussle keeps tabs on her surroundings, the cats she interacts with, as well as the sounds and smells she can piece together, logging them into the back of her mind for later use. Her memory is thankfully strong and reliable, allowing her to pull pieces from her many observations and connect dots and lines with a quickness. While normally her playful, seemingly careless demeanor tends to give off the impression of someone who doesn’t think things through, Tussle’s brain is always buzzing. Even the bad decisions are thought out to make sure they don’t harm others and the possible undesirable consequences of her fun only affect her in the long run.

Tussle cares for other felines immensely, especially if they are someone she’s grown close to. After a past of failures to help those she cares for, Tussle had made a promise to herself to be as loyal as she possibly can be. She is willing to stick beside someone through thick and thin, rain or snow. Likewise, to causes she believes in, she is unwavering in her commitment. She will allow nothing to throw her off of her path, putting aside her want for fun and games and outwardly showing a far more serious side of herself. Furthermore, Tussle has found she works well with others. Where her shortcomings fall, her companions can make up for it. However, as friendly as she is, she can find it hard to stay on great terms. Her actions may be deliberated, but her words are far less so. Tussle has difficulty getting her thoughts to translate into sentences and often opts for a more direct route, firmly believing that actions speak louder than words. Due to this Tussle has trouble when she perceives the actions of others to be slights against her and ends up holding grudges for far longer than she needs to.
