CHarlie is one of Otis best friends and member of the school band. He is what can be described as a "womanizer" and struggles to have long-term relationships. Something that shouldn't be of a big concern for a 17 year old anyways. However throughout the story he has his own journey of what relationships are to him and how he feels about what is seen as "normal" in todays society.
