Physical Description

---

A white cat with black van markings, and blue-amber heterochromia.

Icepool is a white-furred molly with a black tail and black spots around her ears, and has one blue and one amber eye. Her fur is medium-length, and well-kept, with a healthy sheen to it thanks to her pescatarian diet; her pelt is also quite soft to the touch, and curls nicely at the edges. She has a robust build with strong legs and angled features, giving her an elegant appearance. Icepool carries herself very purposefully, making sure to always show off her best angles, and makes an active effort to hide her worst. Her black tail is kinked from an injury in her youth, but she usually carries it in a way where it isn't very noticeable, such as holding it high or curling it. She also has some light scarring, most notably a small cut below her right eye and a thin scar across her shoulders.

Early Life

Icekit was born in secrecy beyond the shared border between NettleClan and CreekClan, where she spent the firsr two moons of her life being nursed and raised alongside her littemates, Birchkit and Bugkit, and experienced frequent visits from her fathers Snowflower and Mottlepelt.

At around two moons of age the kittens were given a choice: to either go to NettleClan with Mottlepelt, or to CreekClan with Snowflower. Icekit, along with her brother, chose the latter, and parted ways from their sister and their other parent. The one thing Icekit learned early on was that she could never tell anyone about her true origins or her half-clan heritage, and as a result she grew up with a tendency to fib and keep secrets, and would often antagonize her peers as a result.

In CreekClan she was nursed by Hollyfur, something one of the queen's own kits, Bearpaw, was not a fan of, and Icekit quickly developed a rivalry with the older apprentice, spending much of her time following them around and trying to challenge them whenever possible. When she was around four moons of age, a new set of youngsters arrived in the clan as well - kittens from the barn going by the names of Peanut Butter, Sugar, and Wild. Icekit made quick enemies out of all of them, starting to develop some deepset insecurities around the idea of being clan-born or having outside blood.

Another thing that was quickly becoming apparent was the fact that despite having a lot of kin in the clan through Snowflower, none of them had much interest in her or her brother, something that would shape the way Icekit viewed her so-called "family" throughout her life.
