Hector was born on March 20th, 2005, in Thebes, Cassus to Megara, Queen of Cassus, and Jonas Vogt. A year after his birth, Hector was taken to Strasbourg to live with his uncle, Otto, who raised him as if he was his own child. The luminary’s life was not particularly eventful, as he was very cynical and remained to himself. This changed when he entered a relationship with Haneen Vaeth-Allard; a relationship that, initially, was merely out of convenience, but soon blossomed to be something more. Hector proposed to Haneen in December of 2020, and the pair quickly developed plans to get married and run off together. As teenagers did. Otto was not particularly involved in Hector’s life as he worked as an archivist and was often traveling, and had very little to say about the pair’s engagement.

Hector and Haneen’s plans to marry were nipped in the bud when, on November 21st, 2021, they were brought to Grimm Academy. They remained unclaimed for a while, and stirred quite a bit of controversy as they continued their relationship even throughout their durations as unclaimed. On Christmas they reaffirmed their intentions to one another to be married. Haneen was claimed on January 15th, 2022, by Megara, the Queen of Thebes. The pair moved into the Megara Cottage together, where Hector remained as much of an enigma as he had been in Strasbourg. Until he too was claimed on January 25th by Megara. He kept the information to himself, and though Haneen was aware that he had been claimed, he put on a front that he had been claimed by Hades and moved into the Hades Temple after the Epic of Oaths renovated the cottage.

The son of Megara seldom left his cottage after his claiming, though he seldom interacted with Haneen either. On March 13th, 2022, he told Haneen that he had been claimed by Megara, though it was far from the freeing experience he hoped. Instead, their relationship was more strained (naturally), and Hector took to spending more time in Thebes with Cerbére, a flying hedgehog he had been gifted at Christmas. He also got to know his actual father, Jonas, during this time, though their relationship was anything but the generic father-son relationship. His relationship with Megara was far worse, only continuing to deteriorate just as his relationship with Haneen did.

On May 18th, 2022, the pair’s issues boiled to a head as Haneen ‘accidentally’ killed Cerbére by turning him to stone and shattering him. Afterwards, Hector killed Juno, his sister’s bird, to which she responded by poisoning the eating utensils in the Megara Cottage with pomegranate juice. Though aware of the deadly affects the juice would have on him, Hector nonetheless partook in a final meal and died on the early morning of May 19th. His funeral was held the following morning in the gardens of Grimm Academy.
