He isn't a tadpole! He just grows slow, okay... Peko is an impulsive little Keronian with quite an explosive attitude. He loves explosions, flowers, and any kind of love and attention.
Though he can't really control his powers, and goes off for almost anything! From a sneeze, to a jolt, to a scare; or even just from feeling any kind of strong emotions. Also, brains isn't really his forte, he's kinda forgetful and scatterbrained.
But this fact doesn't overshadow his loyalty and kindness, even if he pulls any of his mischief.

- Yes, he really does explode for almost any reason. And he doesn't really get hurt by the explosions though, just a little scuffed.
- He get's easily clingy and lovey-dovey with anyone who treats him reasonably well.
- Peko absolutely loves flowers, gardening, making flower crowns... They don't last long since he instantly vaporizes them, but he still enjoys it anyways!!
- Don't you dare talk bad about ANY of his friends. Ever.
- Due to his powers, he's seen as a powerful weapon of massive destruction by... probably anyone who knows him.
- But, also due to him not being able to control his powers, he's seen as a liability and a danger to any operation. He doesn't know this, though.
- He could probably destroy Pokopen in it's entirety if he desired.
- The only Pokopenian he cares about is Hoshiko, to whom he promised to make the world a better place for him to live in.
design notes
- His 'hat' ALWAYS covers part of his eyes.
- The ears of his hat mostly stay angled, but get pointy and straighten when he gets scared and/or ignited.
- His eyes change shape based on his emotions. They're normally just white circumferences, but can change based on his expression to lines, ">"'s, tiny white circles...
- His small red scarf two points can change direction freely, depending on comodity when drawing.
- His tail fin is mainly circular, but can change to a 'pointed' or 'star' shaped when provoked.
- The stars at the end of his hat change color when ignited, and move 'upwards' when ignited, leaving begind a sort of 'black lace', resembeling a burnt cord.
- He only has 3 blue 'freckles' or 'spots' on each cheek, right under his eyes.
- His mouth is almost always smiling and showing his pointy teeth. If they close their mouth, no fangs show.
story
Pekoko developed his 'exploding power' very quickly, it's control however, was nonexistent. For the safety of their home, others and themselves, his parents sent him to a military training camp at a very young age. because of this, he doesn't really remember his parents nor his home.
trainingHere, he underwent harsh military training, and the strenght of his ability augmented, at the cost it's control. The military took precautions with Peko's dangerous power, but he showed an innate affinity and expertise with making and upgrading multiple kinds of explosives.
Because of this, he achieved his title of 'Explosives Specialist', and became kind of well-known around the military force because of this. It wasn't a 'positive' popularity, though. He was percieved as an impulsive, unpredictable danger; but also as a powerful asset and weapon for the forces.
experimentsHis abilities were 'tested' in a few battles and invasions. Not as a soldier, but quite literally as a weapon.
He would go in with a bunch of explosives he himself had made, explode leaving behind an entire crater, sometimes a bit more, and leave.
He wasn't really bothered by this. In fact, it was quite euphoric. At least that's what he told himself.
invasionAfter a couple of these missions, he was told he would be assigned to a platoon with a recruit and a sergeant, with the mission to conquest and invade the planet of Pokopen.
He would actually be the first to (accidentally) land in the planet, in a snowy mountain, obviously exploding on impact. He was left freezing in the snow, until he was saved by a sickly boy living alone in a mansion; whom would soon become his first true friend.
Not long after, Sergeant Rorori and Recruit Dekiki arrived too, and some time later, Sergeant Major Kumumu, and their plans for invasions would soon begin...

great friends.
Saved me from freezing and gave me a home. neither of us had friends before, so we promised to take care of eachother. I'm really careful to not blow up somewhat near Hoshiko. I promised himself to make a better world for the boy to live in.

Although I love messing with him sometimes, I really look up to him and I'm impressed by his constant training and powerful assasin abilities. I strive to be as resourceful and strong as Rorori. but i'm kinda scared i won't ever be as useful to him as he would like.

I armire how cool and strong Kurai is, atleast until he used me to infiltrate the base, called me useless for not being able to control his powers, and even used me as bait to get to the sergeant. He hurt the sergeant. So I will hurt him.
rivals - friends.
even though it seems i don't get along with him, I really like spending time with deki!! Even if he avoids and insults me, i really enjoy being with him so i don't care, i'll keep hugging him because it feels very nice.
partners in crime, friends.
We would probably destroy the entire planet and everything in it if we wanted to; but we actually contain ourselves for the sake of the missions orders. We enjoy talking about ways to both use explosions and poisons for the sake of destroying. I admires Kumumu's ability to to whatever he wants without a worry.

I loves pulling pranks on Blacky and questioning his autorithy. I enjoy the feeling of having a bit of control over someone with the threat of exploding. But I actually really enjoys Blacky's company.
BFF.
He's really cool! It's like having 1000 friends in one! He's always full of surprises and I love when he holds my hand. I don't know why but it feels really nice.

She's awesome, she cares for me and gives me lots of hugs and pets. The rest is scared or disgusted by her tho? Especially the sergeant but I don't understand why since she's so nice!

¡No es un renacuajo! Solo crece despacio, ¿vale...? Peko es un Keroniano impulsivo con una actitud bastante explosiva. Le encantan las explosiones, las flowers, y cualquier tipo de cariño y atención que le den.
Pero no puede controlar muy bien sus poderes, ¡y explota por casi cualquier razón! Desde un estornudo, a un susto, hasta incluso por sentir cualquier tipo de emoción intensa. Además, la inteligencia no es su fuerte, ya que es un poco olvidadizo y despistado.
Pero esto no resta importancia su lealtad y amabilidad, incluso aunque gaste sus bromas pesadas.

- Si, de verdad que explota por casi cualquier razón. Y en verdad no sufre daños por las constantes explosiones, solo acaba un poco quemadito.
- Se pone muy pegajoso y cariñoso con cualquiera que le trate remotamente bien.
- A Peko le encantan las flores, la jardinería, hacer coronas de flores... No suelen durar mucho, ya que las suele vaporizar instantáneamente, ¡pero aun así lo disfruta!
- Que ni se te ocurra hablar mal de CUALQUIERA de sus amigos. Nunca.
- Debido a sus poderes, es visto como una poderosa arma de destrucción masiva por... probablemtente cualquiera que el conozca.
- Pero, debido a que no puede controlarlo, es visto como una carga y un peligro para cualquier operación. No sabe sobre esto.
- Probablemente podría destruir todo Pokopen si quisiese.
- El único pokopense que de verdad le importa es Hoshiko, a quien le prometió hacer del mundo un mejor lugar donde pueda vivir.
notas de diseño
- Su 'gorro' SIEMPRE cubre al menos parte de sus ojos.
- Las orejas de su gorro suelen mantenerse relajaditas, pero se irguen y se vuelven puntiagudas cuando se asusta o se 'enciende'.
- Sus ojos cambian de forma dependiendo de sus emociones. Normalmente solo son circumferencias blancas, pero puedes cambiar basado en sus expresiones a líneas, ">", círculos pequeños...
- Sus dos puntas de su pañuelo rojo pueden cambiar de lado según sea más comodo al dibujar.
- Su cola normalmente es circular, pero se vuelve una 'estrella' cuando lo provocan.
- Las estrellas al final de su gorro cambian de color cuando se enciende, y 'suben', dejando atrás un especie de 'lazo negro' detrás, parecido a una cuerda quemada.
- Sólo tiene 3 'pecas' o 'manchas' en cada mejilla, justo debajo de sus ojos.
- Su boca está casi siembre sonriendo y mostrando sus dientes afiladitos. Si se cierra, no sobresale ningún colmillo.
historia
Pekoko desarrolló su 'poder explosivo' rápidamente, pero su control sobre éste, sin embargo, era inexistente. Por la seguridad de su hogar, de ellos mismos y de otros, sus padres le enviaron a un campamento de entrenamiento militar a una edad muy joven. por esto, no recuerda muy bien ni sus padres ni su hogar.
entrenamientoAquí, fue sujeto a entrenamientos militares muy duros, y la fuerza de su poder aumentó, al coste de perder aún más el control de éste. los militares tomaron precauciones con la peligrosa abilidad de Peko, pero mostró una habilidad y dominio nato en hacer y mejorar una variedad de explosivos.
Por esto, fue otorgado el título de 'Especialista en Explosivos', y se volvión un tanto famoso en las fuerzas militares por esto. Pero no era una popularidad positiva. Era percivido como un peligro impulsivo e impredecible, pero también como un poderoso recurso y arma para las fuerzas.
experimentosSus habilidades fueron 'testeadas' en un par de batallas e invasiones. No como un soldado, sino como literalmente un arma.
Entraría con un par de explosivos que él mismo había hecho, explotar dejando atrás un gran cráter, a veces un poco más, e irse.
No le molestaba mucho esto. En verdad, era bastante eufórico. O al menos eso era lo que se decía a sí mismo.
invasiónDespués de un par de estas misiones, fue informado de que le asignarían a un Pelotón con un recluta y un sargento, con la misión de conquistar e invadir el planeta Pokopen.
El sería el primero en (accidentalmente) caer en el planeta, en una montaña nevada, obviamente explotando en el impacto. Fue dejado a congelarse en la nieve, hasta que un muchacho enfermizo viviendo a solas en una mansión le salvó, quien pronto se convertiría en su primer verdadero amigo.
No mucho después, el sargento rorori y el recluta dekiki llegarían también, y poco tiempo más tarde, el alférez Kumumu; y sus planes para la invasión comenzarían...

Le salvó de congelarse y le dió un hogar. ninguno de los dos había tenido amigos antes, así que se prometieron cuidarse el uno al otro. Peko tiene cuidado de no explotar remótamente cerca de Hoshiko. se prometió a sí mismo hacer del mundo un lugar mejor para que el muchacho pudiese vivir en él.
sargento, ejemplo a seguir.
Aunque me encante molestarle, de verdad que le admiro y me impresiona su constante entrenamiento y poderosas habilidades asesinas. desearia ser tan ingenioso y fuerte como rorori. pero tengo miedo de que no podré ser tan útil al sargento como me gustaría.

Admiro lo guay y fuerte que es Kurai, eso hasta que me utilizó para infiltrarse en la base, me llamó inútil por no poder controlar sus poderes, e incluso me usó como cebo para llegar al sargento. Él hizo daño al sargento. Así que yo le haré daño a él.
rivales - amigos.
aunque parezca que me llevo mal me gusta mucho pasar el rato con deki!! Aunque me evite y me insulte, me agrada mucho asi que no me importa, voy a seguir abrazándole porque se siente muy bien.
cómplices, amigos.
probablemente podríamos destruir el planeta entero y todo lo que habita en él si quisiesemos, pero nos contenemos por el bien de las órdenes de la mision. nos gusta hablar sobre como usar explosiones y venenos con el simple fin de destruir! admiro la habilidad de Kumumu de hacer lo que le de la gana sin importarle nada.

Me encanta gastarle bromas a Blacky y desafiar su autoridad. Me gusta el sentimiento de tener un poco de control sobre alguien tras la amenaza de explotar. pero en verdad disfruto mucho de su compañía.
BFF.
Es super guay! Es como tener 1000 amigos en uno! Siempre está lleno de sorpresas y me gusta cuando me toma de la mano. No se por qué pero se siente muy genial.

Es genial, me cuida mucho y da muchos abrazos y caricias. Pero el resto le tiene miedo o asco? Sobretodo el sargento pero no entiendo el por qué si es super simpatica!
