Mack

despite what everybody describes him to be, Mack isn't so much cruel as he is incredibly pessimistic. his view of the world is warped, damaged by all the injustices and heartless acts everyone inflicts on those around him.

he himself is also partly to blame for his inability to see the good in things; he made mistakes in his past, too great to fix, and for that he shut himself off and has not been able to recover since.

there are times when he seems lost in thought, eyebrows furrowed— those are times when it's imperative he is left alone. if bothered while he is in that mood, he will lash out (not necessarily on purpose, but rather on impulse) and the rest of the day will be soured for him.

Mack keeps himself away from others, and because of his lack of proper social skills, he is afraid of venturing out and initiating contact with others.
