Fionn was born within the Valashamai Jungle and learned to live within such harsh conditions alongside his fellow Lyashtaki and their allied Iruxi and Anadi. Among his tribe mates, Fionn was one of the most sociable and friendly and willing to practically converse anyone who had a question or query. What majorly set Fionn apart though was his ability to transform and shapeshift his body in a way that mimicked other animals. While many of the Lyashtaki Catfolk were druids, few had the gumption or capable of taking on that circle or felt their feline traits were sufficient enough.

As if the jungle and Chenlun Mountains natural conditions werent harsh enough on their own recently a battalion of Fire Yai have been trying to conquer the Chenlun Mountains which resides inside the territory of Fionn and his family. With that being said, Fionn and his fellows have been taking actions against the Yai; however, they are extremely powerful and not to be taken lightly. The tribe elders feared that despite their efforts the Yai continued to gain ground and that ultimately this fight was beyond their capabilities. A sentiment that was only reinforced after an attack led by the Yai slaughtered several of Fionns peers.

Feeling distraught and worried, Fionn possited perhaps they should look for assistance from the nearby settlements. While his idea was certaintly fine in concept, the issue arose when you considered the distance nearby settlements were from their home. If they wanted to recieve help the journey just to contact it would be perilous not to mention long, there was also to consider the chance that even if they did arrive at their destination there was a chance help would be declined or that they did not make it back. With all these factors it was hard to justify doing so; however, despite all the hardships Fionn volunteered to do so anyways.

The plan was to have Fionn head north into Najagor and hope to inquire about assistance within the country. Should he be denied he was to continue north into whatever lied beyond there, as his tribe was unfamiliar with what layed beyond the jungle and surrounding. In the meanwhile his tribe would continue to passivly resist the Fire Yai but would not engage them directly as to perserve life and buy time.

With the plan sorted out, Fionn gathered the gear he would need, said goodbye to his friends and family, and began his march northward in search of those who might be strong enough to push back the Fire Yai for good.
