Ruby Summers

Role: Doesn't play much in the main story arcs, but prevalent enough where she shows up as a supporting role. Shines a lot in the more episodic stuff, however, and occasionally lays down exposition for the Agency, or Val.  

Personality: Mostly level headed, but tries to be optimistic if she can. Upon meeting her, she tends to also seem collected, choosing her words carefully. Liable to occasional bouts of deviancy, though, mostly minor, but can be rough around the edges at times. Otherwise, once knowing her better, she tends to have a very crude sense of humor, and even partakes in the odd prank here and there. Prefers casual conversation in reality, her methods of speaking tend to be pretty forward with use of foul language sprinkled here and there if permitted, which is contrasting to her typical cold front she gives strangers and superiors.

Ruby is Val's previous partner, not his first choice, and their dynamic tended to be very jumpy and all over the place, but their mutual competence at getting the job done was enough. Prior to Jason's arrival, Ruby was a field operative, much like Val, where they would scope out any suspicious activity, but has since become involved in direct surveillance, which means she tends to play along more with the militarized sect of the Agency in support/reconnaissance. That said, it's not a constant role, meaning at times her services are brought back down to field agent and she can join Val and others at times.
