Zachary's Childhood
Zachary Lockheart was abandoned by his mother and father, Freya and Sybil Lockheart when he was only 9 years old. They left him with only a basket of food, a deep purple blanket that his mother had woven, a bracelet, and a letter that included his name, and why his parents could no longer care for him. They practiced wild magic, and in recent weeks, more and more of the Emporer's henchmen had begun closing in on them. The two knew that Zachary didn't deserve to live a life like them, constantly on the run and in danger.
After only being in the woods for a week, and having run out of food two days prior, he was found by Lilith, who was unable to leave him there. He was hungry and afraid, not knowing where to go or even where his family was as they left in his sleep. She brought him with her to the Emporers Castle and was able to convince Emporer Belos to allow him to stay under the idea that he could be trained to become one of the strongest guards the castle has seen, much like Hunter.
Zachary was very shy and timid when he first arrived at the castle, he was soft-spoken unlike the loud and aggressive Hunter. Belos was not sure what to make of him, he could sense a strong potential but knew that he would have to come out of his shell on his own. Zachary never caused any trouble, spending as much time as he could learning and studying when he was still too young to begin training. His briliance was always praised and admired, motivating him to continue this hunt for knowledge.
