About

Valerie is passionate and dedicated. Extremely smart, Valerie is very devoted to her studies, and will do anything to make her dreams a reality. She is friendly, excitable, but also very stubborn, and won't let anyone get in the way of her doing what she loves. She loves to learn, especially about her favorite topic: monsters. Valerie would much rather work hands-on than sitting in an office, which leads her to be quite restless when in "boring" situations. She is very hospitable, but is also prone to losing sight of her friends' needs, and often won't ask before bringing them in on her various projects. While she doesn't realize it, Valerie needs someone to slow her down and make her see her friends' feelings and emotions. Even so, Valerie truly cares about those close to her, and is driven by all there is to learn.

Valerie grew up near Los Angeles, spending most of her life there. She also spent a large portion of her childhood living in Iraq, due to her father working in the US Embassy. When she got older, Valerie attended college in Los Angeles and double majored in history and anthropology. She did very well and has published various papers with multiple historical societies, with a focus on Middle Eastern history and culture. She is currently working for history museum in Los Angeles, which has her studying monsters in Greece.
