Xan is entirely focused on his own entertainment, usually relying on gifts from Lillia or Tae to keep him at bay.
Xan struggles to manage his vampiric tendencies more than others, feeding much more frequently and enjoying the thrill of hunting and the ecstasy of blood against his tongue MUCH more than necessary. He has become somewhat of a myth/ cautionary tale to the human townspeople in his hunting areas, and he absolutely revels in that fact.
