"LET'S GO HOME SLICE!"

Hashi was born to Naoki Emiko and Hideki Toketa, two very loving, supportive, and sometimes overbearing parents. He’s an only child with two cousins much younger than him, so he grew up somewhat spoiled by his parents. Hashi is very sensitive and optimistic, much like his parents, but never shows it because he fears losing his peers’ respect. Hashi is by all means an absolute Chad, and is very willing to help anyone who needs it, whether it be academically, financially, or emotionally, he’s there! He does have a problem with his temper, though, and will frequently lash out at those around him for no reason. This started happening when he was around 12, and around 13 is when his parents started getting him in to see a therapist. Mental disorders run in his mother’s side of the family, and soon, like his aunt, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. As he grew older he learned how to cope and has become a strong and well-rounded young man, though still struggles with his temper.

Hashi has always been close with his aunt, Suru, ever since he was a baby. As a kid he would always ask to go over to her house, or constantly be asking when she was coming to visit next. He sees her more of an older sister than an aunt, because she’s only 9 years older than him. His grandma and aunt lived an hour or two away, so it felt like forever in between getting to see them. Eventually when Hashi was old enough, he developed an interest in being a hero like Auntie Hat. His parents were very persistent in him not becoming a hero, because they saw what it did to his mother’s sister. This made Hashi angry, and over the course of the next few months he progressively got more verbally violent towards them, up until the point that they kicked him out at 14. “Fine, go live with your whore aunt and become a hero,” his mother said, and the next day he was off on a bus towards Hatsuru’s house. This was an added bonus, because now he was closer to the top hero school! He applied quickly after settling in, and was accepted in through recommendation, from his aunt of course.
