Story

When she turned 16, her grandmother finally gave her the big news, "Lynn, you're gonna marry the head of the village's son next week. So be careful and dont hurt your beautiful face." Lynn was very surprised at that. She didnt know what to say. She just said "Okay." because she was so scared of her grandmother. Since she was little, whenever she did something wrong, even if it was an accident, her grandother punished her by not letting her get out of her room for a day or two, she didn't even give her any food or water. When Lynn was only 4 years old, she accidently broke a vase that once belonged to her grandfather. Her grandmother became very angry and didnt let Lynn eat or drink anything for nearly two days. Lynn never forgot that day until now.

And now, she was really sad. She didn't wanted to marry someone she never saw. She wanted to meet the love hof her life just like the other girls do. Just like the ones she read in the books. She just wanted to live her life. Three days later, she met the guy who she was going to marry. The guy kept talking about how pretty she was and how her beautiful her hair was. It was very annoying for Lynn because she wanted people to love her by who she is. Not by how does she look. She didn't want to marry that guy and make her life worse. She finally was brave enough to talk about this to her grandmother. "Are you crazy?! Who do you think you are to reject this offer! That's it, I thought I educated you right. But I was totally wrong..." "But grandmother! I-" "No buts! I'm tired of you. Don't come out of your room until the wedding date. Don't worry I'll give you your food. But if you ever go against my words, you'll see what happens." She couldn't say anything. She silently went to her room, sat on her bed and started crying. She couldn't stop crying. It was like she didnt pour any tears until now. Then she got very angry. It was just not fair. Everyone was living their life with the ones they love but she didnt even had anyone she loved, her life couldn't be worst too...

Then she decided. She was going to Mondstadt! She took the knife she was kept under her bed and jumped out from the window. It was a very riny night. Her heart was beating like crazy. But there was nothing that could stop her now. After not so long ago she lef, her grandmother came in to her room to give her some food but she couldn't find Lynn anywhere. She immediately understand that she ran away. Otherwise, where could she be? She talked with the head of the village and his men. Everyone went out to search for Lynn. It was very rainy so they couldn't see much and it was already late. Then they realized she probably went to Mondstadt. They took their horses and ride them all the way to Mondstadt. While all these were happening, Lynn was running, tripping, getting up and running again. She was all wet and dirty. It was really cold outside too. Then she heard some noises behind. That was the noise of the horses and all the people looking for her. She was very close to Modstadts doors. She couldn't just give up and come back with them. She started to run faster than she ever could. It was very dark, she couldn't see anything and accidently fell down and hurt her leg. But nothing could stop her now. She took out her knife and shouted at the people. "If you come any closer, I'll kill myself!" her grandmother was there too, she came a bit close to her, said "Lynn, my dear, let's talk about these at home, okay?" Of course, she didn't wanted to talk. She just wanted her so that they can marry and get richer. Lynn shouted "No, just leave me alone! I don't want to see any of you ever again in my life. It's just not fair! Why can't I live like every other person? What did I even do to deserve this?!... Then she started to feel the pain from her ankle. She couldn't realize it was hurt until now because she was very angry that she didn't feel anything. She fell down on the ground and dropped the knife she was holding. She couldn't move. She was nearly gonna die that day. Then blue orb started to glow between her two hands. It was a hydro vision. The gods saw all the injustice she lived and decided to gift her this. The people were very surprised. They started to step back and go back to their village because the people in their village believed that visions were just small orbs that turn weak people into selfish, ugly people. Her grandmother said one last thing and went back. "That's why I killed your mother." Lynn was very tired and sad that she didn't understand anything at that moment. She still tried to run and finally made it to the gates of Mondstadt.
