Cottonthaw and his sibling Brisket were born to Breezefur and Goldenwhistle as Cottonkit and Brindlekit.
Cottonkit was always headstrong and independent as a kit, and that attitude continued into his apprenticeship. Cottonpaw was the leader of the apprentices, and would often get himself and others into trouble. He never really had a plan, and instead chose to be impulsive.
Before him and Brindlepaw could be made into warriors, Brindlepaw left WindClan with their father, Goldenwhistle, to become house cats. Cottonpaw and his mother were bitter about this and Cottonpaw let his anger grow into an irritated and cynical personality as he grew older. Cottonthaw recieved his warrior rank and name as the snow started to melt, and eventually he recieved his first apprentice, Mousepaw.
Cottonthaw is a short furred tom of average height. He has milky white and dark brown fur with heterochromia.
His ears are tall and he doesn't often spend time on his fur, leaving it in spiky tufts.
