Pylot Light

An orphan due to a hydra attack in the northern forests of Trius, they grew up learning to track and be self sufficient in a small unnamed hunters guild with humans on the south side of the forests in the swamp lands. Once out on their own, it was hard getting started but they were picked fairly often for gathering herbs and material from the dangerous forest and got a nickname for always finding their way back with a little fire. The only relic they have from their past is a solid glass orb that appears to have something in the middle but they have never had the heart to break it open. It was found with them wrapped up in an old blanket when they were found after the hydra was finally chased off.

Pylot is the type that will take many of the jobs others don't because they are too easy which has given them a reputation of being reliable. Gathering feathers from local birds and tracking down mushrooms in the forest, with the occasional request for hunting some boar that have been destroying the fields. They are laid back and by time they get to the 'bounty boards' all that are left are more like chores that people need hired help with. Unless someone has a job specifically for them, which happens on occasion.

They are regarded as relatively stoic and not overtly friendly, but are actually a literal golden retreiver. They just take some time to warm up to others.

They don't like taking jobs that put children in danger. Rumor has it they ate the last person who tried to hire them for killing a kid. Will go out of their way to start a fight if someone looks at their friends wrong. But will not start a fight for people staring at them. Telling signs for when about to start a fight: their tail will start flicking rapidly back and forth. When drunk will get morose and extra touchy so chooses to stay sober.
