Cordelia

Cordelia is a 5'10" botanical Chimereon with a gentle disposition and a quirky personality. She lives in a small shack in the woods where she practices what some believe to be witchcraft.

Young Cordelia was born with a gift, passed down from generations of family, to heal nature itself: she could bring plants and animals back from the dead. This ability was a well-kept secret, and her parents taught her to never use these abilities around others out of fear for their daughter's safety. This only lead Cordelia to practice her abilities unbeknownst to her parents, sneaking off into the forest and resurrecting the forest life when nobody was looking.

Cordelia proved to be very connected to nature, and she'd often spend hours or even days at a time in the wilderness on her own. She developed basic survival skills in the process and only grew more bold in her ventures. Eventually, however, this proved dangerous.

One day, a fifteen-year old Cordelia ventured too far into the forest and got horribly lost. As far as she ran, shouting for her parents, they were nowhere to be found. Desperate to live on and find her family again, she held on and kept searching until days became weeks and weeks became years.  She survived because of her own knowledge of the wild, knowing what plants to forage and where to sleep.

Shortly after Cordelia turned nineteen, she stumbled upon an excessive amount of magic, stronger than her own magical abilities. An abundance of dirt pearls were hidden within the underbrush, and close by, an overgrown rune. After being exposed to the overgrown rune, Cordelia underwent a transformation so intense that she lost consciousness.

What must have been days later, she awakened as a Botanical Chimereon, sprouting plant and fungal growth of all kinds. The most jarring part of this is that some of her body had petrified, turning into stone; though, she could fortunately still move, thanks to the wonders of magic. She was stunned at first, but eventually grew to accept these changes. 

Eventually, she found the home she'd grown up in, only to discover that her family had moved away. After this, she decided to settle into the forest, growing weary after searching for so many years. She built her own shack where she could practice her abilities, including newly discovered telekinesis and levitation.

Some have spotted her wandering throughout the woods and occasionally venturing out into the world. Though she's generally friendly, her social skills have been affected by years of solitude.

• She can change colors on a whim, but typically changes to her darker palette when using her magic or blending in at night. She also has spectrum on her horns and claws, so they can change to any color corresponding the placement!
• Her body is made of plant material, wood, stone, and metal. She can regenerate limbs if they're lost, but the stone and metal portions take longer to regenerate.
• The mushrooms on her tail are a mutated form of Amanita Muscaria, a toxic and hallucinogenic mushroom. Cordelia closely guards these mushrooms and doesn't like them being touched by others; the last thing she wants is to poison others.

LUCILLE

Lucille and Cordelia are cousins. When they were children, they would play together often and go on adventures in the forest. During their teenage years, they bonded over being the only lesbians in their extended family. Once Cordelia went missing, she lost contact with Lucy. They have since reunited and have continued to develop their family relationship. Lucy is very helpful when it comes to encouraging socialization.

MAXINE

Cordelia and Maxine have a particularly unique relationship; Cordelia has a little bit of a crush on her, and she suspects the same from Maxine, but the two of them haven't really voiced their feelings. They're friends, with Maxine occasionally making flirtatious remarks that Cordelia has no idea how to react to.
