“Real shit? The Commander?” A male voice responded at the same exact time a Mordrem suddenly became visible in the smoke, having been knocked through the air, a thrown axe wedged deep in its chest. It was dead on impact with the ground. “Well done, Biijou! We might actually make it through the day!”
The voice revealed itself to belong to yet another asura, following the dead Mordrem from the smoke to retrieve his axe. He was a young gentleman who looked to be about Ospreii’s age, somewhere in his mid-twenties. He was tall and tan-skinned, with blond hair pulled up into three short ponytails on the top of his head. He was good looking, Ospreii thought, save for his strangely sharp red eyes that seemed to bore into her. It was a little uncomfortable.
This sensation was familiar. If he was one of her soldiers, then they’d surely met at least once before. She just couldn’t recall where at this moment.
In an unnatural manner, his gaze shifted slightly above her head, and he flung his axe once more with no hesitation nor warning. Ospreii ducked at once with a sharp intake of air, staring at him wide-eyed for a long moment before hearing the axe meet its target with a solid thunk.
She wasn’t sure if she should break out her Commander's voice to chastise him on the risky move, but before she could decide, the Mordrem ambush caught up to them in full.

Backstory
Born in a town far from Rata Sum, Krill and his family have never been particularly concerned about academic accolades. This isn't to say Krill isn't intelligent, but it may earn a few disgruntled comments from hypothetical teachers of "If only he would apply himself..."
When his family hit a hard time and found themselves low on cash, he decided to work as a warrior for hire, and found himself employed in the Inquest as a nameless guard. His first position wasn't so bad since no one seemed to take themselves too seriously, but upon transferring to a large complex in Brisban Wildlands, things took a turn when he insulted an overseer to his face and was beaten badly for insubordination. The lab doctor, Stauvv, interrupted and convinced the Overseer to leave. Upon being treated by the grouchy asura, Krill fell head over heels and frequently found excuses to stop by his office.
One day, Krill got fed up with the beating down all the superiors at this lab did and spoke up, pissing off a number of workers. Getting into a nasty fight with an elementalist Overseer and her underlings, he was once again rescued by Stauvv and his surprisingly well-tuned mesmer skills. The elementalist's flames left his eyes damaged and blinded. An experimental proceedure was performed by Stauvv and Roussi to get him hooked up to prosthetic eyes. His condition was carefully monitored, and as soon as he'd recovered well enough, the two snuck him out of the Inquest and told him to join the Pact and take advantage of their numbers.
Taking their advice and requesting to join the troop of Stauvv's younger sister, Biijou, to keep an eye on her for his friend, he made many friends under the warmarshaling of Maeve. He joined Dragon's Watch with the rest of the troop in 1329 and has been in and out of missions. He reunited with Stauvv in Rata Primus and the two officially became a couple staring down the end of the world after the failed fight against Kralkatorrik.
Personality
Krill has always been a loose cannon. He is loud and outspoken, and takes frequent risks on the battlefield, trusting they'll pay off somehow. In personal relationships, he's an entertaining older brother figure, and is unafraid to call other's out on their behavior with blunt honesty. He tends to butt heads often with other dominant personalities, but he also lacks the passion for a prolonged argument. Content to go with the flow most times, he believes things will work out as they will one way or another.

Despite many years apart, Krill never stopped being fond of Stauvv. He is a constant tease to the stoic asura who wouldn't have it any other way.

...Nevermind that he and Stauvv aren't married yet. Krill and Biijou have formed a sibling relationship by merit of their years fighting together, alone.

His warmaster in the Pact, but now also Biijou's wife. Their relationship is much more casual nowadays. They bicker often as an indicator of their good friendship

Biijou's daughter. Dotes on her more than he should whenever he visits. This is encouraged by Maeve and is also the bane of Biijou's mothering
