Sherbert & Herbert

Sherbert was just a normal, tailless cat until he found Herbert. In the beginning, he believed Herbert to be a toy and played with him. He played with the fluffy rainbow worm until he fell asleep. When he awoke, though, he found the toy had permanently affixed itself to his bum. Sherbert now had rainbow tints to his cheeks and forehead and a new best friend he loved more than anything. Herbert, unbeknownst to Sherbert, is a curse. He is not a malevolent curse, he will merely stay attached to this big hearted kitten, feeding him the negative emotions Herbert himself makes. This makes Herbert extremely distressed because he doesnt wish to make his only friend upset. Sherbert, as previously mentioned, doesn't know these feelings are part of a curse, so he simply consoles his friend because he believes the negative emotions are portrayals of Herbert's feelings. Only now, he is right because his love changed Herbert's heart, but not his curse.
