Kiah - ARPG

Background

Kiah grew up in a poor area with her siblings, her parents were very hard workers and she took after them. From a young age, she helped them with fieldwork during the day and helped with her younger siblings during the night. The manual labour from all three of them barely kept them afloat, but she was happy, taking on the occasional odd job during non-working hours for her siblings to have extra.
One year all of her siblings and herself fell ill, no one noticed when one of the kids stepped outside to try to cool down, they didn’t find the child till the next morning who had passed away. Instead of putting her grief into working to the bone to forget like her parents, she tended to the other siblings. Her other siblings pulled through, seeing them happy and lively again filled her heart with joy. She knew she wanted to be a mother one day.
While learning about her Makik as a youngling, she accidentally fell under her own illusionary spell - her biggest regret was not being able to protect her sibling who passed away. From then she began to dedicate herself to becoming stronger - psychically and mentally. By the time she was a young adult, she was more built than her father, her deminer cold and intimidating. Mixing it with a possibly terrifying Makik, she became intimidating to those around her; she wears modest clothing to obscure her built body.
Though, those who know her know that isn’t true, she’s one of the sweetest ladies around. She wouldn't harm anyone unless forced to, with great reluctance. She would rather take a beating than dish one out.

Personality

her heart is soft and delicate. She hates fighting and only resorts to violence when absolutely necessary, eg. when children are involved. A tough exterior with a gentle centre.

Makik: By making illusory eyes within 50m of herself, anyone who looks into one of the eyes is reminded of something they're remorseful of harshly bringing up a bad memory. How they react isn't up to her. Only lasts till she blinks.
