Turtlebreeze is a WindClan Senior Warrior with a big family and a big heart. He lives in WindClan with his brother and best friend, Ryeflake, and has a mate in RiverClan, Shimmerdusk. His apprentice is a fox-raised cat named Prismpaw, whom he teaches how to be a warrior and cat language.

Kithood

Turtlekit was born in RiverClan to a tom named Wheatberry, along with three other brothers named Ryekit, Moosekit, and Bearkit. His other father, Pyrodancer, took Turtlekit and Ryekit to WindClan while Moosekit and Bearkit stayed in RiverClan, so Pyrodancer wouldn't be so alone. Ryekit loved to act overdramatically while telling stories to the other kits in the nursery, while Turtlekit usually played by himself, typically talking to Ryekit.

Apprenticehood

Turtlepaw was apprenticed to the WindClan Deputy, Cheetahtuft, and Ryepaw was apprenticed to a senior warrior named Solarsplash. Turtlepaw struggled during training due to his lack of physique, but outside of training he managed to be a part of the larger group of apprentices who chatted and gossiped with each other often, one time even being able to play truth or dare with them. However, around the middle of his apprenticehood, Wheatberry and Pyrodancer divorced, which took a toll on both Turtlepaw and Ryepaw. Wheatberry found a new mate, Poprocks, while Pyrodancer spiraled into a depressed state, having needed to step down from being a medicine cat for WindClan. Turtlepaw did his best to cheer up his father to no avail, and Ryepaw and Turtlepaw slowly grew apart.

Warriorhood

Turtlebreeze made it to warriorhood in a few more moons, but despite his new rank, he didn't feel accomplished. His family falling apart made him become an overthinker with anxiety, and he hadn't had a proper conversation with his friends or Ryeflake in weeks. Around this time, he met Shimmerdusk, on the border between WindClan and RiverClan, and despite Turtlebreeze's struggles, he felt an instant connection between the two, so they decided to continue to meet up more often. He'd never been a real mentor, but he met an apprentice named Prismpaw and taught her a thing or two because her assigned mentor wasn't training her properly. Over time, Tundrastar decided to assign Prismpaw as Turtlebreeze's apprentice.

Things were starting to look up again. Sure, he was starting to get annoyed by Russetpaw's antics, and Prismpaw would soon be able to take her assessment, but he was able to see his family again. Moosetracks and Bearhug all grown up as warriors, and two new additions to the family: Cuckoopaw, whom Wheatberry adopted, and Poprocks, their new stepfather. Turtlebreeze and Ryeflake enjoyed being with family once more after so many moons. It felt good.
