Dogoda is not as he appears. Dragon and humanoid appendage are separate entities with their own wills and wants. However, the humanoid portion seems to run the show. In fact the name "Dogoda" refers to the parasite as he considers himself to be the only one smart enough to warrant naming. Their relation is considered a symbiotic one as the humanoid part acts as both a lure and the brains. Dogoda and the dragon can communicate without speaking though it's not uncommon to hear Dogoda talking aloud to no one in particular. Dogoda is lonely and occasionally will hide his sizable dragon half and lure someone in just to have a good conversation. He will not hesitate to feed someone to the dragon if they get on his nerves..

Dogoda occupies a primitive highland. Sharp gagged peaks rake the sky and mist often settles in the valleys creating a sea like appearance. Tribes carve out a living in the rugged environment by hunting and herding. Throughout the ages locals have been plagued by the dragon that calls the mountains home. Regarded as both god and demon, Dogoda is respected and feared. Numerous people have become prey for the dragon despite attempts to appease him.
