ABOUT SEYMOUR

Seymour is a 23 years old young adult, a little shorter and ligher than the average for his age. He's highly vain and loves to spend his free time buying clothes and relaxing at a spa or a salon. Most people could describe him as unsensitive or rude, but those who happen to know him longer enough just agree that this is his way to be. His blatant sarcastic and impacient attitude keeps away most people, making him someone with very few true friends. He's not afraid of others' opinions, and doesn't mind at all being labeled as "cruel" or "mean" nor tries to make a good first impression on anyone.

DAVID, seymour's host

David is a 29 years old workaholic statistician who lives with Seymour. He pays all the house and Seymour's personal expenses. His hobbies consists in laying on the sofa for hours, watching old classic movies and looking at birds. Unlike Seymour, David thinks the first impression is a highly important thing, and tries his best to act polite and professional, even with his hot-headed attitude. His friends and co-workers define him as "moody and perfectionist, but a cool guy". Seymour and David have very different personalities, but they still manage to be the most important person in each other's life. They have a long and complicated story and relationship. Or at least that's how they define it, so they doesn't need to explain anything.

The two of them met years ago when Seymour, 15yo at the time, were in an abusive relationship that marked his life forever. David had just graduated from university and were already living by himself when he offered Seymour to live with him. Since then, they developed an inexplicable bond based on acid humor, cynical jokes and a lot of trust. They can read each other like an open book and enjoy spending time together, even if their conversations can look like endless old couple discussions to others.

They do not consider themselves as boyfriends, and insist that they have only a strong friendship. They're free to date whoever they want, but both are terrible with long term relationships. Seymour prefers to have one night stands with lots of people, while David just considers himself as "unlucky with dates", but is not really fond of casual sex. However, even if they both pretend to others they aren't even close to dating, Seymour and David had more than a couple nights together.
