Celery is a mischievous little time hopper with a love of gnawing on anything he can get his little teeth on. He has no trainer, his origins are unknown, but darn, he's so cute he just gets away with everything. He tends to phase in and out of sight, making him very difficult to keep tabs on.  He's very childish, and mentally probably around the age of 6 or 7. He can be bratty at times and doesn't really like being told what to do. 

While he's certainly a sweetheart if you win his trust, he tends to prefer to just play around with you before darting off into the woods, leaving you wondering who was chewing on your sleeve when you weren't looking.

He technically lives and spends most of his time on the sky island, but that's not very fun- so it's certainly not unexpected for him to be causing problems in the true world. 

Celery isn't his real name...it was given to him by denizens of the sky island who refer to him as such because he smells almost just like the plant. He doesn't seem to care.

Celery was born on the sky island...but he didn't stay there for long. As soon as he'd solidified a relationship there, he learned his ability to maneuver through time and set about being a little troublemaking adventurer in other worlds. Since he's still young, he's still finding his place in the world- and moreover, still making plenty of mistakes as he goes that need to be repaired by more experienced pokemon in the realm of time. He isn't ill-intended at heart, but he's definitely immature.

Since he's still a child, he avoids conflict and flees any real difficult situation to leave to his elders.
