Rukk is a strong-willed orc from the inland of a small port island overrun by magic. He used to defend against the hostile magical creatures the island makes, but during one of the first major surges he lost half of his face. He is now in a useless diplomatic role, seeing as how the orc village and the human/elf village have gotten along just fine for centuries and communicate often. He feels a bit useless, but he does his job anyways and he makes sure to do it thoroughly.
He's especially protective of his childhood friend and crush Petoryn.
