General bio:

Rika's home life wasn't much to write home about as was her general upbringing as far as anyone knows, she had a loving family(As far as anyone knows) who she felt complete apathy towards in her teen years in favor of focusing on her studies to become a scientist and she got her masters degree by the time she turned twenty-one.

Rika was never a social butterfly, she rarely interacted with anyone if possible and tended to shut herself in her lab for long periods of time, her fellow scientists always having to drag her out of it so she can eat, drink and get proper amounts of sleep cause she sure as heck isn't taking care of herself, though she certainly threw plenty of fits when they did this.

Though due to her secluded nature she became obsessed with the eighth Chaos Emerald when young Megan slipped up and the scientist saw it before the younger hid it again, it was only natural as there was only seven they knew of, so how could have an eighth been undiscovered for so long?

This obsession unfortunately seemingly took over Rika's entire life, as she now hunts the young foxfeline down at every turn. However, she's far from stupid and frames all her actions that make it into the limelight on Eggman, not to mention she steals designs of robots from him cause she was a scientist, not a damn robot builder for goodness' sake.

Though the fact she's no good at building robots is a good thing as Megan can always beat them, and now that Megan is traveling with Shadow this is doubly true, and they've beaten Rika's robots and schemes every time they've encountered them.

What might be a bright spot in this is she has no plans to gather the other emeralds to rule the world, she's only concerned about the eighth one and her goal of obtaining it hasn't changed, though that last bit can't be considered a good thing necessarily.... Definition of insanity and all....
