Profile
Spencer
"I fully believe that knowledge is best used when helping others."
Spencer is a luna moth who works as a librarian, but unlike most librarians, he isn't a prick. He's genuinely good-natured, good-hearted patient, helpful, and kind. The perfect teacher, he's approachable and always there to offer practical advice or knowledge. An avid reader, he'll do his best to answer any question, from social issues to concerns about the natural, scientific, or literary world.
Design Notes:
Google will call his moss green outfit a tuxedo with tails, but it's more like a sweater-vest with tails. His vest has black and white tassels on its shoulders. It also has 4 buttons representing a waning crescent, waning gibbous, waxing gibbous, and waxing crescent. Each lavender wing has a single eye, and he wears dark pants and shoes. He's slightly taller in stature than the average person and never slouches. His hair swirls together similar to the ying-yang symbol. The dark yellow patterns on his face can be fluffy or not, but the white fur on his neck is indeed fluffy.

The perfect teacher, he's approachable and always there to offer practical advice or knowledge. An avid reader, he'll do his best to answer any question, from social issues to concerns about the natural, scientific, or literary world.
A professional nectar enjoyer, he believes in being ethical and devotes a lot of time to the community. He reads pleasant stories to the youth on Thursdays and runs a book club. He's quite social and is comfortable by himself or with others. He has infinite patience, you could burst into his library screaming and covered in chocolate pudding and he'll just go "Good morning, friend. You do plan on cleaning that up, right?" He isn't too old-fashioned and is delighted to incorporate learning with technology.
He's very punctual, easy-going, and formal. He doesn't freak out easily, but can be a bit of a perfectionist. He can also be somewhat of a pushover, but it takes a pretty horrible person to take advantage of his kindness. He HATES dirt and disorganization. Besides, if his library is a mess, how on Earth will he be able to help others or for them to help themselves? Sometimes he can be a bit snooty and gossipy, but he tries to keep himself in check.
MBTI: ISFJ
Hardworking and devoted, ISFJs feel a deep sense of responsibility to those around them. ISFJs can be counted on to meet deadlines, remember birthdays and special occasions, uphold traditions, and shower their loved ones with gestures of care and support. They rarely demand recognition for all that they do, preferring instead to operate behind the scenes. They are capable, affable, sensitive and caring, with excellent analytical abilities and an eye for detail. Despite their reserve, passive nature, they tend to have well-developed people skills and robust social relationships.
Enneagram and Subtype: 9w1
The friendly, social Nine ‘leans in’ and participates fully, often taking the role of mediator or facilitator in groups. They put their own issues aside, maintaining a happy front to avoid burdening others and making sacrifices to meet group needs. They take comfort from being in a community. Working hard to keep the people in their life happy, they may run the risk of becoming a workaholic, hiding their pain or stress.
Tritype: 925
The Problem solver (any combination of 2,5, and 9) is caring, knowledgeable, helpful, wise, peaceful, and accepting. They have a very shy, gentle, and reserved nature that focuses on what is harmonious. They need companionship and avoid loneliness by focusing on the needs and concerns of others. Their life mission is to find the information needed to help others manage their difficulties. Problem solvers are happiest when they can be in the role of a good Samaritan and help others find solutions. They can be so focused on the helpful information they have collected that they can be too passive and miss opportunities that would allow true presence. They also have great pride in giving to others but not needing them. It would benefit them to recognize that hesitating too long and being passive to avoid conflict does not keep the peace.
Temperament: Phlegmatic-Sanguine
The Phlegmatic-Sanguine combination is driven by two needs: to be accommodating and accepted socially. Either need may dominate their behavior depending on the requirements of the situation. They are accommodating, people-oriented, routine, friendly, and tolerant of others. They're naturally motivated to bring harmony to their environment. They prefer a mostly private, routine existence, and involvement with family and a few friends. They have a stoic expression but will, at times, show a natural smile. They easily accept others, but have difficulty confronting or pressuring people. They stubbornly resist change—especially sudden change. They need social involvement and are loyal, consistent, and dependable. They are naturally service minded and independent, wanting to operate by themselves at their own pace. They have a difficult time saying no and will often take on more than they can do just to please others. They're likeable and most have a very pleasant, soft voice. They are more friendly after warming-up and can be very talkative at times.
Attachment Style: Secure
Those with a secure attachment style are typically sensitive and responsive to others’ needs. Most tend to use an affectionate tone of voice. They also communicate comfort visually and physically through comforting body language. They show more positive emotions than negative. They’re usually mid-to-high in independence and high in acceptance.
Skills
Telepathy (Through hands)
He has a bit of magic and uses telepathy (but from his hands ig) to move and organize books. It can pick up anything or stop anything in mid-air. Spencer will tell you that it's not magic and uses the gravity properties of the moon.
Fluttering
Spencer can fly and flutter to reach books from high places. Children love to be carried when he flies, which is good, because he can't pick up anything much heavier.
Tea-Brewing
Spencer is an avid tea-brewer, creating his own recipies using a mixture of leaves, petals, nectar, and honey. It's delicious!

She appreciates his infinite patience and ethical stance, seeing him as a pillar of the community just like herself.
Sumo
Sumo and Spencer share a complex, romantically charged relationship that oscillates between friendship and something more. Sumo admires Spencer's poise, reliability, and intelligence, while Spencer is drawn to Sumo's ferocity, passion, and musical talent. Despite their mutual attraction, both resist acknowledging their feelings, maintaining an on-and-off friendship instead. Yet, they are always the first person the other turns to for help, advice, or comfort. Their bond was further solidified when Spencer hid Sumo from an angry mob in his library
