Profile
Many aspiring bioengineers submitted applications to become the intern and apprentice of the famed Ysolt Haldyn, but only one would be able to secure the highly sought after position. It was only after an ardurous selection process that Caia Zhirayr, a senior student of the Illion School of Engineering, was selected for the position.
Caia's career choice may seem surprising at first glance, for he is humble, gentle, and personable. But he has already made incredible feats in the field at such a young age, and the passion he feels towards it is obvious. Seeing him in action, it is no surprise that he was choosen for the internship above all others; with his skills already being so advanced, he will only achieve even greater things while working alongside Ysolt.
(It seems not everyone was happy to see the position go to Caia, however... something that happened back home has been weighing heavily on his mind, distracting him from his work. He is fortunate that Lady Ysolt is so understanding, but unfortunate in that his problem is not one that can be easily solved.)
- Coffee
- Classical literature
- Long baths
- Dark chocolate
- Large parties
- Confusing books
- Caia is originally from Emathia, but moved south for school.
- Caia is immensely charismatic... he is well-liked by almost everyone who meets him.
- Caia loves coffee, and usually starts the morning with a cup... the habit honestly may be becoming just a little unhealthy for him.
- Lavenders are his favourite flower.
- Additionally, his favourite kind of chocolate is lavender chocolate.
Effie and Caia were dating up until Caia got his internship. The relationship ended very soon after, though both of them are relunctant to talk about it.
Caia had heard stories of Ysolt before coming to work under her- that she's a miracle worker, that she's a goddess in mortal form, thatshe is unrivaled in nearly every aspect...
What Caia didn't expect was for Ysolt to be so... emotionless. Not outwardly cruel, but simply emotionless. As if she herself were a machine, rather than a person.
Due to the lack of conversation Ysolt provides, the ever-talkative Caiaphas has taken to attempting to communicate with the robot she's created, Syra. So far, it's been slow-going...
