Personality
Tanso is a stern, hardworking and responsible young man, who doesn't mind getting his hands dirty and who takes all his tasks very seriously. He follows rules very fastidiously and even tends to scold others and get into conflicts if they don't do the same. It is very important to him, to keep his surroundings, especially his house clean and organized - some even say he has the cleaning bug.

Golduck
[ Golduck ♂ ]
Golduck has been Tanso’s friend and partner for many years, when it still was a Psyduck. With its strong body, it’s a great help to Tanso, especially with his new occupation as Lilligant’s warden.
Golduck loves to visit Lake Valor (even all by itself) and take a swim there. When it comes back, it often brings Tanso something useful like Medicinal Leeks.
Tanso doesn't keep Golduck in a Pokéball. Although they're partners, it is important to Tanso, that Golduck is free and can go wherever and whenever it likes. But of course, Golduck loves to be with Tanso the most.
Trivia
His name "Tanso" is the Japanese word for "carbon" (炭素). Diamonds are a solid form of carbon.
Tanso always carries a knife, mostly for cutting wood or mushrooms and such. (pic)
His favorite food is rice with mushrooms.
He is left-handed.
He dislikes Pokéballs, because he thinks that Pokémon shouldn't be contained like this.
He has light scars above his nose and on his hands. He got those from a Pokémon attack.
His hair ornament actually has a real diamond attached to it.
While being very hardworking, Tanso does allow himself frequent breaks. In his free time, he likes to go fishing with Iscan or carve wood figurines with his knife and give them to children to play with.
Relationships
Adaman
[ leader ]
Tanso has great respect for Adaman for being the leader of their clan at such a young age. While Adaman still has a lot to learn, Tanso appreciates his efforts and also his strict view for punctuality.
Iscan
[ best friend ]
Iscan and Tanso have been very close friends since their childhood and while both are very busy with their duties as a Noble Pokémon's warden, they still try to find some freetime to spend casually together. Tanso likes to visit his friend in the Cobalt Coastlands where they'd often go fishing in the sea.
Mai
[ friend ]
As Adaman's sister and the warden to Wyrdeer, Mai has been always viewed as kind of a big sister to everyone. Tanso likes her for being responsible and hardworking.
Arezu
[ acquaintances ]
Although they both grew up together, just like others of the same age, Tanso never really got along with Arezu, as he dislikes her carefree and loud personality. When he found out about her also working in Jubilife Village as a hairdresser, he complained to Adaman, because she couldn't fullfill her duties as Lilligant's warden like this - thus he took over.
Sabi

Sabi and Tanso don't really know each other very well, however he is very impressed that she's a warden at that young age and does a good job of taking care of Braviary in the Alabaster Icelands.
Melli
[ acquaintances ]
Melli and Tanso actually used to get along very well as children. In his younger years, Melli used to be very shy and quiet - a completely different character to his adult self. Of course Tanso noticed the change in his friends behavior and while he does like Melli's intention behind it (wanting to help Adaman and the Clan), he simply despises his annoying, smug and over-confident attitude.
