Arizóna Krihámá

I will bring the rains back to our family.

Biography

Arizóna was from a small farmland in the northwestern Gusty West, raised by a tiny family. She has a light country accent and a southern charm to her attitude. Being around her can make you feel warm and cozy, as if you're at home, but she can also make you feel fear and intimidation. Due to her life in the dust she has grown to defend herself well, taking up an almost dance-like combat style.

Long ago in Arizóna's family's past they were good friends with another family line. This other family line was a largely magical one. The Jótalhúmós' were very close to the Krihámá's for a long time, They were even very similar in some ways! They valued morals in preserving their family lines, determination in living in harsh environments, and were both very...very...competitive.

This competitive nature would eventually bring their downfall however, when Arizóna's ancestors made a bet that they could easily beat the Jótalhúmós' without the use of magic simply because they were the better family. This made the other side angry, a racial feud broke out, and it devolved into a duel. A bet on both sides was out for the other and they were out for their heads.

Long story short, the Krihámá's lost the bet and were forced to pay the consequences. The Jótalhúmós' cursed their family. No matter where they go or live they will forever have unprosperous crops, animal growth too slow to harvest, and land nearly too dry to live in. Heatwaves would hit the family with viscious strength, hoping to end them forever, but they lived on through pure determination and resistance.

Eventually, the ancestors of the families forgot about the feud and the last members who knew about such a thing wrote it all down in a book and sealed it up. They laid the trails for a new generation to track. They wanted a savior to help their family but they were getting too old to do it themselves. They'd have to hope. They had a son and told him the story before they passed away. That son held the legend to his heart for years and knew there'd be a chance of survival sometime soon. He almost felt like he KNEW that this would be the way it goes, he had visions of a future of prosperity. He saw... His granddaughter.

This son was Arizóna's grandfather, he would eventually pass the legend onto her and bless her with a gift from gods to be able to break through the curse, she'd be able to feed her family for another generation, she'd raise animals once again, and could easily win over the chains the Jótalhúmós' forced upon them.

Arizóna's quest is to take a map her grandfather gives her and follow it, it will lead her around the continents. How her ancestors had time to do this was unclear to her but the journey would definitely be worth it. She'd get stronger on the way and learn friendships she never knew back in her dreary dying homelands. She'd get stronger, learn to embrace her new magic skills, and would further influence her skills with dancing. She will find out that in the end the map leads all the way back home. After getting over a bit of a quick anger break from finding the whole map was just a giant circle she'd realise that the lesson she should learn is to not let petty things like anger and annoyance get in the way of friendships and goals. Loses aren't such a horrible thing to have, they make you more humane.

In the end, she finds a book, generations of writing from her ancestors, telling the story of her family and the horrible mistake they made those years ago. It would tell her exactly what to do to lift the curse. Go talk to the elder living in the Jótalhúmós' manor and convince him to free their family. That her charisma would be able to assist her in doing this difficult feat, and she should be brave and not back down, but not let fury stop her."

Stats

not sure how to fill this out at the moment, but her class is: Bopi (Dancer)

The dancer class kind of... dance fights lol, it's hard to explain cause the game we play is a homebrew PARODY of DND called Mystics and Mazes.

Inventory

Not much is permanent, but she wears a circlet from her godess, and at the moment has leather gloves and shoes to help with her kicks/punches.

Powers

I'm working on it, but im really tired so I'll sum it up:

She worships the goddess of water, and in turn was blessed with the powers of rain and other water powers.

She can do stuff like summon rain, shoot water bullets, and other funky water stuff
