Casey's name was supposed to be Cryocanis, a name given to her by her previous owner. Her previous owner had a strong interest in science so they named her a name they saw fit. It was quite a literal name... "Cryocanis" Can roughly be translated to mean "Ice Dog"

When Gale adopted Casey, she was told what her old name was. They wanted to respect the old owners choice to name her Cryocanis but it became a mouthful to say all the time, so they nicknamed her Casey one day and it kind of just stuck.

Casey is a very energetic and friendly snowpet, enjoying racing and bounding around any time she can. She also likes to steal items such as sticks, rocks, and personal belongings. Yes, personal belongings. She is known for stealing an item and running off with it, causing you to have to chase after her. She's quiet troublesome indeed.
