Hal

A  tomboyish girl who’s a straight A student and loves to skate.She has a complicated relationship with her parents and  her boyfriend Julius; her parents forced her to study and get straight As so she can get into a good college. She dislikes Julius’s mean behavior towards other students that try to speak with her. She tends to hide her dark emotions and issues, in favor of helping her classmates and friends, even going as far as to ignore her own pains and suffering.

Back ground:

She is Vergil and Diane’s daughter, this she is a half human half Angel. Because Vergil knew Diane couldn’t keep both  Raven and Hal  safe, he gave her two parent less adults to raise her, placing memories of her within them so they would think she is their daughter. She was given a blue bow that helps conceal powers while she is living on earth. She obtained ice powers from the abuse she received from her parents, and Julius.  They raised her to be a grade A student and gate kept her from dangerous and harmful things. As a half Angel, she is able to within certain degrees, especially the cold. her parents found it strange and took her to a doctor, but they couldn’t find anything so they left it be. She made friends with Julius after meeting him at school. At the time of meeting Julius, her ice powers began to develop, discovering she has ice powers after she accidentally freezes one of her stuffed animals. At first she hid these powers from her parents, only showing Julius, however, her parents discover these powers after she slips on an ice floor she created and cracked her head open. They forbade her from using her ice powers afterwards, and blamed Julius for ‘manipulating her, banning him from ever visiting their house. Still, Hal never blamed him, and the two eventually date in secret unbeknown to her parents. 

 She meets Raven after Julius tires to harm him in, and meets him again during a class, in which they both become friends. She invites him to the arcade where an incubus is attacking a girl. Raven attacks the demon. Hal is shocked at first, seeing his supernatural abilities, she too has them and is hesitant to use her powers <after the accident> , but after seeing Raven fight, she joins in with her ice abilities.  Vergil explains the situation, and Hal joins the fight, knowing she was special. Hal is hurt my Julius after hearing the news, which leads to Julius and Raven getting detention. When Raven  asks why she doesn’t stand up for herself she explains that Julius is the only friend she has, she’s always been teased for being smart, and having an unusual love for the cold. She expresses that she hates her parents because they force her to do everything she doesn’t want to. After meeting Raven, she gains confidence to help her friends. Raven gives her the courage to stand up to her parents.
