The goddess is spring is an important deity associated with the harvest season of both Paros and Illyria. She is the bringer of grains, the harvester of wheat, but her season of flowers also brings sickness to both human and plantlife. Though she is not a cruel goddess; often times, destruction gives birth to new life.

The duality featured within Nafiset comes from her worship within Paros. Controlled fires to clear out undergrowth to make way for new life are sometimes done in her honour. It is for this reason that Nafiset holds a torch, to both destroy and create.

Within Illyria, she is typically worshipped alongside her mother, while Parosian devotees typically worship her as a goddess on her own.
