he is very loyal, but maybe a little bit too loyal. Valda tends to be overly obsessive, and can get really clingy to someone he is attached to mentally. He is really affectionate with this person, but anyone who dares come near them, and try to interfere will see a whole different side. He is very passionate about what he does, although that is not always a good thing in his case. Sometimes he will be quite manipulative too, to make sure things go his way. Gets a little bit of a temper problem when not around the person he cares about most. However he will definitely put on his act for the people, and to outsiders, he does seem like a really stand up guy. They would describe him as strong, confident, funny, and very mature.

when he was younger, he met the prince on a stroll through town. The prince was in disguise, and was intrigued by the boy his age, so he rushed over as soon as Valda took a fall Valda wasn't used to people acknowledging him much, as he grew up in a rough environment with his family. They decided to hang out after that, and became close, which led to him obsessing over the prince. He vowed to protect him no matter what, and it was his goal to become an official knight in order to actually protect him.
years have passed, and Valda officially was knighted. He was now tasked to watch over the prince at all times, which he did not mind at all. However this became a problem when jealousy struck everytime he saw the prince interact with someone else in an extremely friendly way, which made him boil up inside. Taking out his anger started at the battle field alone, or on enemies who tried to come after the prince from other nations. However this turned to more extremes later on, when he would start attacking people who were not even after harming the prince. He usually can sneak himself out of these scenarios though, and manipulate the prince into thinking something completely different.
