Deja’s aether is unstable. He seems to have an abundance of aether, but it is all highly aspected towards light. This requires him to practice dark magick in order to keep his body in balance.

Deja is used to getting what he wants and it shows. He’s arrogant and stubborn, but also protective and dedicated to those he’s close to.

Although he is extremely flirty, he never expects it to go anywhere and tends to be easily flustered if it's reciprocated. He tends to lie and deceive at a moment’s notice, although he’s calmed down over the years. He can be unstable and selfish, often not thinking ahead. When things go wrong, he won’t admit to fault aloud, but internally beats himself up. He’s good at masking his emotions and knowing what his true personality is requires persistence, something not many people give him due to his ego. He keeps up this act on purpose, pushing people away even by accident out of habit.

• Deja is the current leader of the Saavitra, a Miqo’te tribe deep in the harsh desert of Thavnair. He left his home to chase material wealth. Using the Echo to scam people eventually landed him on the radar of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Working with others, he found himself regarded as a Warrior of Light, despite his impressive misuse of the gift.
