In the midst of branches laid a bored she-cat. Nothing was exciting anymore, not even bickering back and forth with her local rival. So she laid there upon the branches, in thought.
What she thought of was nothing special, just reminiscing on her kithood and apprenticeship-- how new and exciting everything was to her and her friends back then. Letting out a sigh she closed her eyes, slowly beginning to doze off as her thoughts faded to nothing.
But just as fast as she had fallen asleep, she was awoken by the snap of a twig. Who was there? Lazily, she opened an eye to peek at who could be disturbing her nap. To her surprise, she met the gaze of a cat she didn't recognize. Too lazy to wonder what the cat was doing in Clan territory she asked: "Who are you?"
