- he left when mav was about 8 or 9
- maverick worked as a farmhand in southern Lemoyne in his younger to teen years; worked hard but wasn't a fan of hard work
- started running with his first real gang at around 13
- discovered his found family at 16- a ragtag gang of sticky-fingered delinquents just angry at the world
- he worked as the gang's sniper ofc-- taking high positions to scope out the area just before and during robberies, with various whistles to communicate with the rest of the gang; worst case he uses his advantage to take out any runners should the robbery go south and witnesses be alerted
- he grew very close to the leader of the group-- not second command in the gang itself, that position was already filled, but they were together more often than not most days
- mav fell in love with the leader he has a name i just aint sharin it rn lmao around seven months into knowing him, though the feelings were there far in advance; obvs mav didn't realize what it was, but they had a very,, physical relationship a lot of lingering touches etc etc and relied on each other heavily even though it was never spoken of between them
- they didn't ~get together~ fr until almost a year and a half after meeting

- gets loud drunk instead of tipsy drunk
- obnoxiously pushy
- unknowingly physical with affections such as grabbing hands, ruffling hair, random hugging, gentle leaning, etc
- s c a r y good with scoped rifles, notably low skills in closer combat- greatly prefers stealth and ambush techniques as a result
- probably violently in love with the idea of trying out a gatling gun sometime but has yet to get his greasy little hands on one,,

- lowkey suicidal
- little hesitation when running straight into combat
- his eyes glOW whenever someone draws first/goes out of their way to provoke him
- somehow hasn't managed to die yet
