Vex is one of two adventurers chosen via oracle for a grand purpose. What that purpose is, she still isn't quite sure. Why she was chosen she's even less sure of. Unlike the half-orc Urik who is a druid possessing the magic of nature itself or their two mysterious companions from the wealthy nation of Keoland, Vex is just a low-rank rogue in the largest adventuring organization with no notable achievments under her belt or grand powers. Sure, she's contributed to large operations but the heavy lifting was always on others and she was strictly support. What good is a tiny kobold to the fate of the land? Still, she has a good reason to fight for Gyruff's future even if she doesn't share the optimistic, lofty ideals of her famed boss.

Upon meeting her new companions as well as the royals Brenin Owen Lluthson and Princess Calisse Kimbertos who were soon to be wed Vex began to grow optimistic about this mission. It was nothing she couldn't handle to chase away some unruly goblins or escort the royal couple here and there as they got to know each other before the wedding. However, only a day into the job she got the news that Dyvan, a young boy she had helped raise since birth, had gotten into the fey realm and suddenly she was facing the worst possible situation with a group of strangers. Not knowing or caring if this was indicative of future troubles Vex and her party rallied to find the boy and bring him home, the first step on the adventure fate has laid out before them.
