Miku Akahoshi

Master Gymnast: Miku is extremely athletic and aerobatic, having honed her natural reflexes, agility, strength, dexterity, and body coordination through years of practice. With her incredible reflexes and agility, she is able to outmaneuver almost any opponent she comes across in battle and jump exceptionally high and far, even from a stationary position, all with little apparent effort. She is also extremely limber, being able to twist, bend, and contort herself into positions nearly impossible for an ordinary person to achieve. These abilities also grant her impressive parkour and free-running skills, allowing her to scale almost any surface or terrain quickly and squeeze through most barriers and small spaces with noticeable ease.

Enhanced Senses: Due to her cat mutation, Miku’s senses are stronger than a normal human’s. She has night vision and isn't affected by darkness, being able to see/sense things just fine within it, thanks to her cat-like eyes. With her sensitive ears, she is able to pick up on small or far away sounds and discern what they are or what's being said easily and can even recognize the voices of her friends and classmates in a crowd. She is also capable of distinguishing others through their scents, which is especially useful when dealing with shape shifters and individuals that use stealth tactics.

Enhanced Stamina: Thanks to a combination of her Quirk and the training she's received, Miku possesses an impressive amount of stamina and endurance. She doesn't tire easily and can take a fair amount of damage and still continue to fight.

Keen Intellect: Miku has proven to be very intelligent both on the battlefield and outside of it. She is a top ranked student and an excellent observationalist, noticing things quickly and can easily see miniscule details where others cannot. She is also exceptional at picking out subtle changes in her environment and the people around her and is able to come up with strategies to use these observations to her advantage during battle.

Musical Talent: Miku has a naturally dulcet singing voice and possesses perfect pitch due to her heightened hearing. During her childhood, her father also taught her to play the guitar.

Thanks to a mutation inherited from her father, Miku was born with several physical feline features, including cat-ears and a tail. These traits give her enhanced senses, reflexes, and speed paired with a gift for balance and agility. This allows her to be a prolific fighter in close range and have very good mobility.

The most prominent aspect of her Quirk, however, was inherited from her mother and gives her the ability to project her own life-force energy and manipulate it in a variety of ways, primarily attacks such as destructive blasts, streams, waves, and bolts. With enough focus, she can even create solidified energy constructs such as walls, force fields, stepping stones/platforms, whips, and blades. She can usually make up to six constructs at a time, though the bigger they are can limit this number since they take more of her power and focus to maintain. When engaged in close-range combat, Miku can also use her Quirk to add more force and power to her kicks and punches. The energy she releases always gives off a brilliant crimson glow.

Due to her heightened senses, Miku is very susceptible to loud and/or high-pitched noises, overly bright lights, and strong smells. When hit by one of these stimuli, she needs almost double as much time to fully recover. Her long tail can also be a weak point of hers if it gets grabbed or pulled too hard.

Another drawback is that, even though she has above average stamina and endurance, if she uses her Quirk for very long periods at a time or releases too much power at once, she is prone to headaches and fatigue that can eventually result in blackouts or complete loss of consciousness if she doesn’t have time to rest and regain her energy. She requires a lot of sleep to completely restore her strength. Also, if Miku completely loses her focus or passes out, any of the energy constructs she created will immediately disappear.

Crimson Blast (クリムズン・ブラースト Kurimuzun Burāsuto): Miku’s most common long-range attack. When using this move, she puts her hands together and creates a ball of bright red energy in between them and then fires it at the target.

• Crimson Barrage (クリムズン・バラージ Kurimuzun Barāji): A move in which Miku rapidly fires off a volley of smaller, slightly less-powerful energy spheres from just one hand.

Crimson Slash (クリムズン・スラッシュ Kurimuzun Surasshu): Often used in close-combat situations, when Miku implements this move, her arm becomes surrounded by a bright red aura with a crimson outline. The energy then takes the form of a claw that she can use to slash at the target with. If she swings her arm fast and hard enough, she can send out a crescent-shaped blade of energy at them to do damage. Depending on the amount of force she puts into it, the attack can cut through metal.

Crimson Force (クリムズン・フォース Kurimuzun Fōsu): Both a defensive and offensive move where Miku draws out her energy and condenses it into durable barriers that she can shape and manipulate as needed. She can use it to grab and break apart targets, protect others from enemy fire, contain a target or to cover and deflect attacks from enemies. Like any physical barriers, they can be broken with extreme brute force. As part of her training, Miku also learned to construct a close-to-the-body energy armor around herself to protect herself from extreme impacts, such as falls from great heights or blows from superhumanly strong combatants, increasing her durability to a significant degree.

Crimson Nova (紅の新星 Kurenai no Shinsei): Miku creates a large sphere of energy with two rings surrounding it from her hands and fires it at the opponent. When the sphere hits, it creates a violent, crimson-colored explosion.

• Last Resort - Crimson Supernova (最後の手段 - 紅の超新星 Saigo no Shudan - Kurenai no Chōshinsei): A stronger version of Miku’s Crimson Nova move where she releases all of her energy in one massive blast. This move will knock out anyone, whether friend or foe, within a twenty meter radius of her at the time the move is used. Since it uses up every last ounce of energy in Miku, she can only use it once per battle, after which she will be out of commission and must take time to recharge.

Hero Costume: Miku’s costume is made primarily of reinforced elastane and compression material and is designed to be very comfortable, durable, and easy to move around in while fighting.

• Shock-absorbing Boots: These boots are specially designed to be sturdy and resistant to damage. The soles are padded to reduce the impact from risky landings while also providing extra comfort.
• Utility Belts: Two stylish belts used to keep Miku’s belongings and hold first-aid items in case of emergencies.
• Gloves & Stockings: Made of compression material, they keep the areas that they cover warm and enable blood flow to circulate quicker to the heart.
• Optical Visor: Specially designed eyewear to enhance her already excellent vision as well as protect her eyes from bright lights and debris.
• Earbuds: Hidden inside her ears are earbuds that are used to help guard her against the high-pitched noises that she is susceptible to.

Miku Akahoshi (赤星 美紅 Akahoshi Miku), also known as the Mystical Hero: Magicat ( 神秘的 ヒーロー マジカット Shinpiteki Hīrō Majikatto) is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, where she got in through official recommendations and is currently training there to become a Pro Hero.
