She wasn’t the top of her class as an apprentice. Moonpaw often got lost in tunnels, came home with a mouse instead of rabbits, and ended fights with a “time-out!”. Still, the other apprentices enjoyed her friendly attitude and knew she was welcomed company on patrols. Everyone also knew of her admiration for the talented prodigy, Sunpaw.

She managed to pass with the support of her childhood crush and best friend. It was no surprise the two became mates days after.

Moonrise knows how to laugh at her blunders and bring out the best in other warriors. Even if she doesn’t possess paws as skilled as her mate’s for tunneling, cats still appreciate the advice she brings. Outside her warrior duties, Moonrise often assists the monarchs and elders. With enough warriors to feed and protect borders, she values creating a comfortable space for her clan. Moonrise is involved in keeping up with her clanmate’s lives through gossip and involvement. She has a history of taking a mediator position for disputes.

Recently, she’s been finding her diplomat talent challenged as her restless mate grows frustrated with an “endless battle of the egos”. Moonrise is determined to help Sunfall remember his spark and he’s still loved.
