Vesper is the chosen familiar of Cas, daughter of Lord Dracula. He has a tendancy towards anxiety and worrying, though when given a task he always sees it completed, even at the expense of his nearly non-existant pride. Most believe Vesper was chosen by Cas due to his subservient nature and some even see her treatment as mean, but Vesper seems content in their friendship and his position. Unlike vampires, Vesper can't change his form from a bat, though this changes when he drinks Normalitea and becomes temporarily mortal. He actually enjoys the social aspect of school quite a lot.
